This particular study was done as part of an assignment with my teammate Anupriya Gupta for the course Usability Engineering, during my final undergrad year.

What is Contextual inquiry? It is a semi-structured interview method to obtain information about the context of use, where stakeholders are first asked a set of standard questions and then observed and questioned while they work in their own environments.

What was this study about?

To understand the gaps existing in the system with the help of contextual inquiry. The aim was to create the various models like flow, sequence, physical, artifact, and culture and find out gaps in order to understand how can we improve the system from its current existing state.

How many systems were studied?

3 systems, 1 day each

Chosen systems:

1. Cafe Coffee Day Canteen

2. Hostel Canteen Juice Center

3. Ambrosia: A cake shop
